Request Data Deletion
Use this page to request deletion of your data from Ashoon. We process every request within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
When you submit a deletion request, we delete or anonymize the following within 30 days:
- Message content (text, images, audio, video) you sent or received through Ashoon
- Profile metadata we received (username, profile picture URL, sender ID, phone number)
- AI-generated replies linked to your conversations
- Any associated stored access tokens (which are also immediately invalidated)
Some operational records (anonymized audit logs, billing records for businesses) are retained for 90 days as required by tax and fraud-prevention obligations, but contain no personally identifiable content.
Faster: disconnect from inside Ashoon
If you have an Ashoon account and just want to stop new data from being collected for a specific connected social account, log in, go to Bots → your bot → Social, and click Disconnect. That immediately stops all webhook events and revokes the access token. To also delete the historical conversation data, submit the form above.
